Note: This is the 63rd entry in the list, and not the 63rd Apple-1 produced. The Apple-1 does not have a regular serial number. Only some Apple-1 have a handwritten serial number.
Unfortunately, no picture of the mainboard is available to verify whether it is original or not.
Unlike every other museum contacted by the Apple-1 Registry, the Enter Museum did not respond to any requests. There are no pictures or further details from the museum, and unfortunately no evidence that the case actually contains an Apple-1. Third parties also inquired for computer blogs. Cooperation was promised, but nothing was ever provided.
The nickname of this Apple-1 was changed from Enter Museum to Kunz. According to an interview, Mr. Kunz is the owner.
At the end of February 2022, the Apple-1 Registry received pictures of the Apple-1 setup in the Enter Museum. Two Apple-1 replica mainboards were displayed together with the wooden case. Both Apple-1 boards on display are replicas. As far as we know, there are many articles and reports about the owner, but no picture of the original Apple-1 has ever been published. If anyone has knowledge of such a picture, please contact the Apple-1 Registry. Our mission is to preserve the history of all Apple-1 units.
The Apple-1 Registry visited the museum in June 2026. At the ticket office, I was told that original Apple-1 computers were on display, but the visible boards were clearly replicas. There was no sign clarifying this. Many visitors might therefore believe that at least one of the displayed boards is original. Other computers in the museum, such as the Mark-8, are also replicas, again without any visible signs explaining this.
The wooden case appeared to contain only cables. The Apple-1 Registry met Mr. Kunz in the museum and asked again for pictures. He said that the original Apple-1 was somewhere else and was not in the museum. However, no pictures were provided to prove its existence. In addition, he said that he did not know whether it was a first or second batch Apple-1, and that he had no further information about it.
According to an interview with owner Felix Kunz, this Apple-1 was found at a flea market in San Diego in the 1990s and bought for about US$10. According to Mr. Kunz, the Apple-1 is on loan to the Enter Museum. However, at least in June 2026, it was not on display in the museum.
